I've raised £3000 to help support charities in memory of Matty Greenhalgh.

(Uncle Matty with his little niece Ava)
Matty was the beloved little brother/son/nephew/Uncle/Grandson and nutty friend who was tragically taken from us far too soon earlier this year.
Matty was born with DiGeorge Syndrome and as a consequence had to endure many visits to the hospital over the years. Sadly after his most recent heart operation this year - he passed away.
Matty's Milestones has been setup to give Mattys friends and family the opportunity to honour and celebrate the memory of Matthew Indiana Greenhalgh by Walking, Running, Cycling and maybe even Paddling to as many virtual Matty Milestones as possible (scroll to the bottom for the full list of Matty's Milestones)!!!
Everyone taking part will be adding their own personal kms to the over total team distance which will help us pass more and more special destinations - that all have a special Matty significance! Lets see how far we can go and how many milestones the team can tick off!
All donations towards the team will be split between Matty's old schools and Max Appeal (who are a UK registered charity supporting families affected by DiGeorge syndrome).
Matty attended two special schools in Bolton. Ladywood for his primary school years and Rumworth for secondary.
Matty's family are profoundly grateful towards both these schools; for all they did in helping Matty develop and for all the great times he had in education.
The challenge will start on the 1st November 2020 and will finish at midnight right at the start of Matty's Birthday (29th) where he would have turned 15 this year.
