I've raised £1000 to show our support for Maura Delap by doing the November "4" Challenge

4 weeks ago our amazing Mum, Granny, Wife and Sister had a massive stroke and we have been blown away by the love and support shown by so many people. She has had 4 weeks of intensive rehab and has at least another 4 weeks to go and she is finding the rehab incredibly tough as the stroke has had such a severe impact. With Covid-19 no-one can visit her and everyone is asking what they can do to help.
So, throughout November I am doing a challenge where I will run at least 4k every day and cycle 400k over the month. Lots of people have already said they will do something tough and include the number 4. 40, 400 as an individual or a group.
It's not just about raising money it's about sharing Mum's journey and feeling like we are doing something to help.
All funds will be split between a stroke charity, St Margaret Mary's School where Mum taught and Carlisle Youth Zone to help feed less fortunate kids, as Mum used to regularly bring breakfasts into school for kids she knew wouldn't have had it at home.
