Story
My dear friend Sandra has a beautiful Spanish Rescue Dog named Diva. Two years ago Diva fell from a 3rd floor window onto street paving and suffered horrendous injury. Despite all the odds Diva survived the fall and went on to spend 6 months as an in patient at the vet. Sandra spending a good deal of her savings on more than 10 operations to save Diva's legs. Finally Diva was allowed home but unable to walk so Sandra purchased a doggy buggy to transport Diva and continue to give her a quality or outdoor life. Sadly it was discovered that Diva does not make calcium and the splinted bones did not heal as expected. She has a front leg still broken in two and manages to wriggle along using her rear legs to push her forward. The vet having warned Sandra that it may become necessary to amputate. Unfortunately a rear leg has now broken and the warning of amputation has become a distinct possibility sooner rather than later. I am asking for your generous help in paying the vet bills for the ongoing expensive costs relating to further operations, aftercare and drugs. Sandra is of course devastated and with limited remaining savings it is an additional worry that she does not deserve. We fear she will have insufficient funds and the ultimate decision to cease medical care would be unbelievably sad having come this far. Diva although in discomfort remains cheerful and brave whereas my dear friend is in pieces.
