Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Chilton care home are looking to add a roof to one of their outdoor seating areas to allow all the residents another private area to relax with friends and family in a comfortable outdoor environment.
To help raise awareness and funds, 4 hikers have offered to dedicate their annual walk to this cause.
Tony Wilson, Micheal Kidd, Sean Smith and Trevor Marshall all of who grew up in the community of chilton and still have a lot of links with the Care Home. The lads overheard our ideas, and immediately agreed to use this years annual walk to help. The lads who have completed over the past few years walks including coast to coast, hadriens wall and west highlands way are aiming to complete Seaham to Berwick this year which is approximately 106 miles.
The walk will commence on Sunday 27th April from Seaham and the lads will complete daily updates and pictures of their journey.
Care Centre Manager Maxine Smith said we are absolutely thrilled that the lads have chosen this to help us and our residents will venture outside more with the protection of a roof on the patio area.
our residents and families both present and future will get to enjoy, and we wish them all the very best on their walk.
we have set up a JustGiving page below if anyone wishes to support the Lads on their walk, they will be over the moon.
