My name is Kelly (I'm the one in the middle)

I have volunteered for Maya's Community Support Centre in Herne Bay for over a year now. In that time I've seen the struggles that people endure, in person, everyday.

People are struggling more than ever since Christmas and the cost of living just keeps rising, therefore more people are needing help.

Our food bank is a lifeline for more and more people and, as we rely on donations alone, I would like to shave my hair and donate all money raised to Maya's to make sure the shelves are topped up and people can eat.

100% of all donations received will go directly into replenishing the foodbank stores which have been heavily depleted by the increased demand since the start of December so if you can spare even just £1 we WILL make it count.

The shave

will take place on Saturday 8th March (International women's day) at 2pm
