Help us to feed 5,000 people in need this Christmas.

Maya's Food Banks are going to be open all Christmas holidays, every single day, even Christmas Day providing food for struggling familes through the whole Canterbury district and more!

During this time we are running a number of Give Away events including ;

1. Daily Food banks during all Christmas holidays - 2pm and 9pm.

2. Daily Emergency food parcels for the most vulnerable.

3, 23rd of December give away of fresh ingredients for Christmas dinners for 2,000 people (10am to 5pm)

4. 24th December big supermarket fresh food give away all across the district 5pm till midnight, equivalent of 1,500 meals

5. Christ day the community cafe will serve free Christmas dinner for isolated and homeless people, also we will deliver hot Christmas dinners for housebound members of the community.

6. We will be open for any food emergencies during the Christmas holidays as we believe that struggle and hunger don't go on holiday !

7. Emergency Christmas Gift table available 15th - 25th December

Our Food Bank is proud that in the last 12 months we have provided 213,890 meals to financially struggling families (30% of these were kids).

With your support no local kids or elderly will go hungry this Christmas !
