Hi,

My name is Maygan, and I am currently studying Psychology at Anglia Ruskin University. I recently received a wonderful, life-changing opportunity to travel to Fiji in July next year with the VesaBroad programme, to primarily educate and teach the children there English. VESA and I will also work together with villagers and village chief there to address other major local issues. These include:

- The lack of fresh running water
- Run-down schools and their poor infrastructure
- Health and Hygiene

The cost of the Volunteer Programme to Fiji is around £2000. By sponsoring me, you will be directly assisting with any costs that will be involved with the programme. These costs are significant, and go towards hiring locally skilled trades people to assist in building projects, building materials, and donations to local organisations.

Over the course of the programme, I will complete a minimum of 40 hours of hands on community based volunteering. Towards the end of the programme I will get the opportunity explore a few of the other islands that Fiji has to offer.

VESA is a volunteer organisation, and is not a registered charity, therefore any donations will to be tax-deducted.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me, and any donation no matter how small will make a difference and would be greatly appreciated.
