I've raised £2000 to Volunteer in South Africa with VESA.

Hi everyone.
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My name is Mayling and I am a student at the University of Warwick. This summer I am looking to volunteer for two weeks in South Africa, with the charity VESA. VESA was established in 2009 with a vision to promote Direct Action support in communities and regions where traditional charities and aid do not operate. As it is an NGO charity, it relies on the donations and fundraising efforts of its volunteers, so any donations will go to an amazing cause and will be greatly appreciated.
During my time in South Africa, I will be partaking in the construction of houses and classrooms within Khula village, as well as bathroom blocks and kitchens for the local schools and orphanages. Similarly, I will be helping in the construction of sustainable farming units for families and single mothers, so that they can start a micro business to secure a more stable income. I will also be participating in the wildlife conservation projects in the local sanctuaries. In the iSimangaliso Wetlands Park, I will be assisting with the observation, population monitoring, capture and release of crocodiles. Also, I will help with general maintenance, renovation and cleaning of the enclosures at the Saint Lucia Crocodile Centre. In the Hluhluwe Imfolozi Park, I will be working with Cheetahs and other African cats in a rehabilitation, breeding and release program. This also includes preparing the food, feeding the cats and constructing new enclosures for the breeding pairs. Finally, I will be engaging in education programs in the local primary and pre-schools, where I will be teaching the children English and the importance of maintaining basic sanitation, hygiene and nutrition.
My target of £2000 will go towards my flights and upkeep for the duration of my stay. This includes my accommodation, food and transportation around the country. Also, it will contribute towards any building materials needed, the hiring of local people to assist in the project, and will contribute towards VESA's general expenses (ie. paying their staff). With the help of my family, friends, and generous strangers, I hope to have the opportunity to make a difference in the world where it needs it the most. If possible, please donate anything you can, either big or small, to help me reach my target.
Thank you again for your time.
