Story
During his year as the Mayor of Stockton-on-Tees, Councillor Bob Cook is working to raise awareness and much needed funds for his chosen charities.
The chosen charities for the year are local charities Autism Matters and Neoangels. You can read more about the work of these two incredible charities below.

Autism Matters is a Teesside-based charitable organisation supporting Autistic adults through services designed by Autistic adults. It provides person‑centred support including social groups, short breaks, one‑to‑one assistance and work‑experience opportunities. With a strong commitment to inclusion and identity‑first practice, Autism Matters creates safe, empowering spaces where Autistic adults can thrive, connect, and shape the services they use.

NeoAngels is a Teesside charity supporting families of sick and premature babies cared for on the neonatal units at the University Hospitals of North Tees and James Cook. The charity provides financial help with food, travel, and parking, alongside emotional and bereavement support. Working closely with medical teams, NeoAngels also funds vital equipment to improve care and comfort for babies and their families
