Earlier this year my hometown of kumamoto was struck by a powerful earthquake, causing a huge amount of damage.

Now many families struggle and some have completely lost their homes. The funds raised will go towards rebuilding projects in one of worst affected areas, Minami Aso.

I'm hosting a sushi fundraiser in Glasgow where I live now, but I set up this page so anyone who cannot make it to the event but still wants to help can do so.

Of course, we would also welcome donations from anybody else who has felt moved by the plight of the Kumamoto people.
