Story
On 21 March, Sandra, Melissa, and Monica will be 'breaking free' from Perth Prison, aka Jail Break, without a single penny, and will have 15 hours to get as far away as possible without spending any money.
This year the Jail Break Charity Fundraiser will raise money for Our Lady's and Rosebank Primary Schools, as well as our chosen club, the McCann School of Irish Dance.
McCann School of Irish Dance operates from the Grey Lodge in Dundee, teaching Irish Dancing to very talented boys and girls aged 4+ from all over Dundee. Irish Dancing is an extremely expensive sport and requires absolute dedication and commitment. The dancers attend class 3 times per week and put in hours of additional training at home. Our dancers compete all over Scotland, the rest of the UK and Ireland, and proudly hold titles for All Scotland Solo Champion and Team champions as well as World and All Ireland medalists.
In April 2020 the dancers will be travelling to compete in the World Championships in Killarney. The trip is very expensive with costs including flights, entry fees, accommodation, aswell as dancing necessities such as costumes, shoes and various accessories. We have been actively fundraising to reduce the cost for the dancers and parents attending, so please give anything you can to help support our cause. Every penny will make a difference for these very talented children!
Thanks in advance to anyone who can offer support.
