Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
In September this year, we are heading to Kumi, Uganda. This is to support the on-going hard work in building/renovating education facilities for a vast number of orphaned children whilst also supporting local community projects.
Following the HIV/AIDs pandemic, Kumi has inherited a generation of orphans. Almost half of Kumi is under 15 and are all desperate for education. Schools here are bursting at the seams and are in need of desperate refurbishment.
We're part of Team 4 (of 5 teams) that will spend 2 weeks in Kumi. We'd like to raise as much money as possible to support the communities we'll be visiting whilst we are out there.
Your donations, big or small, will go towards the continuous help in giving these children the opportunity of a proper education and supporting the wider community to continue to build towards a brighter future.
Visit Kumi Facebook Page to see the work thats been going on in Kumi so far and to see the people that your donations will be helping.
Thank you for all your incredible support. We'll be sure to keep everyone updated whilst we're out in Kumi.
