السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'oon

Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Allah we shall return.

Our beloved Abbu Mohammed Shajahan Uddin sadly passed away on Wednesday 2nd November 2022.

Abbu, took his last breath, with our mother by his side. He was honest, hardworking but most of all he was a great father, brother, uncle, husband, and son.

He worked every single day to support our family and his community, providing refuge, respite and even hope to those who were lost. He was always a phone call away, even though he was working consistently to provide for us all. On the rare occasions he had a day off he would spend the day with me, and my five younger siblings.

Our Abbu craved to always be around his mother, his wife, his children, and his siblings, and when he was around us all, everyone would know! He would have us in bursts of laughter and flood of tears with pure love and happiness. He never shared his sorrow or his woes with us. Now with his absence we truly feel deep pain and loss, he loved us unconditionally and we wish to continue his legacy.

In honour of Abbus’ memory and his legacy we would like to raise £10,000, with your support to build a masjid in his name for the sake of his akhirah so that Allah may grant him mercy and allow us to help him to continue his virtuous deeds.

“When a man dies, his good deeds come to an end, except three: Ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, and a righteous child who will pray for him."

This hadith teaches us that we can still commit good acts on behalf of our loved ones for Allah’s (SWT) sake. It is also a way of showing our Sabr (patience) and our love for those who have returned to Allah (SWT).

We ask you, as his family that you help us by sharing this message and help us to reach our target. For you will also receive the barakah in the efforts you make through the mercy of Allah.
