Story
I’m raising £1,500 to buy a reliable 4x4 to be used as a medical evacuation vehicle, getting injured people to medical care in areas where ambulances can’t safely or easily reach.
This isn’t my first one. Since 2022 your support has helped me raise over £20,000, fund 7 vehicles, keep two ex-NHS ambulances running, and personally drive 9 vehicles to the handover over the past 18 months. Every one has gone straight to the teams that use them every day.
£1,500 goes a long way: the vehicle is sourced in the UK, checked over, loaded with aid, and driven by me to the handover point, where the team receiving it takes it the rest of the way. You’ll see photos of the handover right here. The target covers the vehicle plus fuel and delivery costs. £650 left over from my last fundraiser is already going towards it, and anything left over rolls into the next one.
When minutes decide whether someone survives, a working vehicle is everything. Thank you for helping me do this again.
