Story

To everyone who has donated, a massive thank you. With the help of those who have donated on this page, Ian and Nicky Morris have delivered to the Royal Hampshire County Hospital at least 500 drinks a day since early April. If you are thinking of donating please do so and help us to continue.

Like many others we wanted to do something for all the dedicated and compassionate staff working at Winchester Hospital at this very difficult and unprecedentated time. .

We heard that Medical and Non-Medical Staff are exhausted and often dehydrated, after and during a long shift wearing uncomfortable and hot PPE. The masks can leave sore indentations on the skin, yet we all know the amazing staff will carry on regardless. The emotional toll on staff sitting with those at end of life must be immense.

Our idea of providing a few soft drinks and refreshments seemed very insignificant in comparasion, yet this simple idea has become one that is much appreciated by staff. To use the words of an ICU consultant "so many grateful staff, thank you".

We would like to keep purchasing and delivering drinks and refreshments for our wonderful staff whilst they look after those fighting so desperately for life. Please help us to do so by making a donation.

Thank you, stay well and very safe
