Story

My 37 year old friend Amy Blake (Strang) is fighting a rare form of cancer, called Pseudomyxoma peritonei (PMP). It's an extremely rare condition that usually develops from cancers of the appendix. Sadly Amy is not going to win this battle. She will leave behind her husband, 3 young kids and her family and friends.

I played rugby with Amy and the team are pulling together to raise money for her chosen charities.

I will be getting my head shaved in January to raise a bit of money.

Amy has been cared for in the Margaret Kerr unit for palliative care in Melrose and has asked that any money raised, be shared between
the Margaret Kerr unit and research into PMP cancer.
