Story

The pandemic has affected all of us in many different ways and this is something I want to do to help an amazing place where I go once a week for a ride and to help out, that is finding the pandemic an especially difficult time.

Foxendown Pony Sanctuary is very special to me because it is where we kept our lovely pony Betsy. The Sanctuary has rescued so many ponies from awful situations and they receive so much love and care and most importantly, a forever home. Normally the sanctuary offers the opportunity for children to have pony rides and lessons and this pays for their care. With lockdown this has not been possible and so Sheena, the wonderful owner, has been left to care for 18 ponies and a donkey!

The premises and stables are rented from a local farm and because it isnt owned by the Sanctuary, the Sanctuary is not able to register as an official charity so did not receive any government funding.

Anyone who knows me, knows that going sober for a month is not going to be easy so please donate to make my pain worthwhile!! 😂
