Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Eden and I will be taking part in a 5k walk and litter pick to try to raise atleast £500 to support the amazing work at the Hemsley Conservation Centre, a small but mighty zoo in the heart of Kent.

This wonderful centre opened in 2015 and was built from the ground up by our close friend Adam Hemsley. The HCC is home to over 40 species, most of which are endangered.

Their mission is to ensure the survival of the species they care for, many of which are under represented and need help. They work as part of a large network of zoos and wildlife collections around the world, to create sustainable populations of the animals they house, and to educate their visitors in a fun and exciting manor.

They are continually growing and need all the support they can get to continue the incredible work they do. Not only do they provide insightful keeper talks, they also offer experience days and host school workshops. Educating future generations on the importance of the conservation of these incredible species and their habitats.

Please support us if you can!

Thank you

Meg and Eden
