In Loving Memory of Our Beautiful Baby Boy, Luca

There are no words that can truly describe the heartbreak we are living through. Our precious baby boy, Luca, was tragically stillborn, and our world changed forever in an instant. The pain of losing a child is something no parent should ever have to endure, yet it is now part of our story.

During the darkest time of our lives, we were held by the most incredible kindness and compassion from charities, especially 4Louis and Sands. They provided us with the most precious gift of all, time.

Because of their support, we were given a homely, comforting space within the hospital where we could spend our final moments with Luca in privacy and peace. They provided a memory box filled with keepsakes we will treasure forever, a cuddle cot that allowed us extra time to hold and love our baby boy, beautiful photographs and hand and foot prints, memories that are now priceless to us. These moments are ones we will carry in our hearts for the rest of our lives.

Although this has been the hardest thing Lewis and I have ever faced, we feel like we need to give something back. No family can ever be prepared for this kind of loss, but the support provided by these charities help to make an unimaginable situation just that little bit more bearable.

By raising funds in Luca’s memory, we hope to support 4Louis, Sands, and other baby loss charities so they can continue providing vital equipment, memory making services, and compassionate care to grieving families across UK hospitals. We hope that through this fundraiser, more parents will have access to the same comfort, dignity, and precious time that we were given.
