My partner and I want to go to Thailand and help the children there learn the English language. As well as this we hope to volunteer in a children's orphanage, an elephant orphanage and volunteer in zoos. We plan to do this during a gap year between college and university but there is a problem with funding. It started out as both of us helping out with the RNRMC, my partner spending 24 hours in a liferaft whilst getting sponsored. From this point on both of us have wanted to make a difference in the world and have pledged to try and do so.
