Story
I am walking the West Highland Way to raise money for two causes that mean an incredible amount to me — Holy Trinity Church and Youth Nights in Market Rasen.
Holy Trinity Church has been a place of comfort, support, and hope during some of the darkest moments of my life. Through grief, trauma, and loss, the church gave me a place where I felt welcomed, safe, and never alone. It is far more than just a church building, it is a community that opens its doors to everyone, regardless of their background or circumstances. The kindness, compassion, and support they show to people every single day is something truly special, and I want to give something back to a place that has given so much to me and so many others.
Youth Nights are equally close to my heart. Growing up, I experienced trauma for many years, and I know firsthand how important it is for young people to have somewhere safe to go, people to talk to, and positive activities to take part in. If I had had a space like Youth Nights as a child, it could have made such a difference. These evenings help get children and teenagers off the streets, giving them safety, support, friendship, and a sense of belonging in a world where many young people are struggling.
By supporting this fundraiser, you are helping both the church and Youth Nights continue the amazing work they do within the community, supporting people through hardship, creating safe spaces, and changing lives in ways many may never even see.
Every donation, no matter how small, means so much. Thank you for supporting me on this journey and for helping support two causes that truly make a difference.
