Weʼve raised £0 to Help raise money for us to take a show to Brighton Fringe Festival

Closed on Sunday, 10th December 2017

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

    Story

    Hello,

I am Megan Vickers and I am currently studying at University Centre Colchester on a BA (hons) Acting and Creative Performance Degree.

I am now in my third year, and for our final major project we take a performance to the Brighton Fringe Festival. This is such an amazing opportunity. However, we don't get much of a budget for our shows and need to fund raise. We do bakesales and other fundraising activities regularly to raise money, and this crowd funding page is another way we hope makes it easier and more accessible for people to support us and our education.

The money donated will be spent on costumes, set, props, advertising, promotion, reviewers, and other misc thing that arise when devising a performance.

Rehearsals start in December and any money you can spare, even if its just £1 or £2, everything helps and is appreciated.
