    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

    Story

I am a 14 year old indoor climber on the GB team. Over the past few years I have been: Scottish boulder champion, Welsh lead champion, multiple podiums in British boulder and also placed first over all at this years GB selection process. This year I have been selected to attend 5 European countries: France, Portugal, Austria, Netherlands and Italy. This is an amazing opportunity and I feel extremely lucky to have been chosen. For each competition it is estimated to be around £500 for each trip and obviously this is quite a lot of money. We are doing this fund raiser in hope to raise enough money so that I can attend these competitions. All funds raised will also help with my coaching, training, travel and kit.
There is currently no funding in this growing sport, so any help at all will be gratefully received.

Meg was really pleased to be selected for Sports Achiever of the Month for February 2018 from a nomination by Ousedale School. This award is supported with funding Sport MK receives from Milton Keynes Council. She has also been invited to the Sports Achiever of the Year event later in the year, and will be presented with her certificate of achievement by the Mayor of Milton Keynes. This year is incredible!

So delighted that our local MP, Mark Lancaster is keen to support Megan. He even let Megan belay him in a climb! What an experience.
