Story

A little bit of context

In Peru there is a huge disparity between wealth and poverty, rural areas being left behind the developing cities leading to over 50% of rural communities living below the poverty line. A lack of education and poor vegetable growing conditions contribute to the chronic malnutrition problem in the highlands. As well as deforestation of the world' she largest forests.

Here’s what we’re doing about it

We will build tree nurseries growing native plants to reforest the Amazon rain forest. The local community gain income from selling saplings to other local communities. Building seed greenhouses through which the children can grow plants to learn about nutrition. Building greenhouses for families so they can grow their own vegetables. Building kitchens and dining rooms nearby schools. We will build toilets in local homes to improve health and hygiene problems.

You can join us

To fulfill the needs in Peru the total sum needed is £4,500. This will be used to allow us to travel over to Peru so that we can solve all these issues, by helping out other communities in other countries who are less fortunate and need the help that we can give them.
