I've raised £1000 to work alongside the amazing children and teachers of Tanzania to continue to make a difference to their learning and futures.

I have been selected to work in Tanzania over the British summer where I get to work alongside teachers and have this opportunity to connect with, learn from and share my skills with others.
Many places around the world are not as fortunate to have facilities bursting with equipment, resources and technology to help when delivering lessons yet we are meant to equip children to become future learners and leaders.
Through the work with LRTT (Limited Resource Teacher Training) our aim will be to support and work alongside teachers within the schools we are based to help make subtle changes to how they deliver their curriculum so that they can utilise what they do have available to them as well as use some of the strategies that we will shape with them while we are there. The main goal is to ensure that each and every child receives the best possible education that will prepare them for success in their secondary school systems and life beyond the classroom.
I do believe that little luxuries such as chart paper, post-it notes, blue-tac and pens can be like 'gold dust' and therefore I will be hoping to take with me a bag filled with these little treasures to leave with the school I work with.
To help cover the costs of this life-time experience I decided to paint! As it turns out- I thoroughly loved painting this:
So ... for every £ or $ donation - I will enter the names of my donators and one lucky winner will receive this very painting done especially by me - so yes - an original!! I will send this framed to anywhere in the world..... so please support me in my next adventure and join me in my journey when promoting education, equality and enjoyment in learning as well as know that you have helped me to make a difference through this wonderful opportunity.
Blessings to all!
