Preferred Futures is the Isle of Man's newest registered mental health charity (Reg 1357). We are run by a group of IOM Mental Health Nurses who identify the need for additional care provision for our island's people.

We are often told that "waiting lists are too long", "some places who can offer support, often don't touch the harder end of the mental health spectrum" and "there is not enough support for those in need which can result in a condition worsening or people ending up in crisis".

Our aim is to put people first and try with our whole hearts to help bridge these gaps. We want you to feel seen, heard and supported.

As we embark on this exciting journey we hope to bring you along with us for the ride. In the very near future you will see us opening up support groups, offering free resources/advice and going on a fundraising journey, to help us create the funds to support our big vision!!

Just £30 can fund a support group for 1 week, so every penny and pound really does matter here and we wholeheartedly thank you for helping us to get started!
