As most of you know Carrie suffered a stroke 15 months ago 2 weeks before she was due to give birth. Carries strength has helped her through this, but sadly she will not return to the railway. I personally have known Carrie for 15 years, both as a work collegue and a friend. I know Carrie had always wanted a family and what a price she has paid for it. She continues to fight on and has a wonderful daughter Daisy . Along with the help of her rock of a partner Jason and all of her family she is now able to live at a home with a fulltime carer whilst Jason is at work.
