I've raised £2000 to fund Leon's World Challenge expedition to Nicaragua in July 2018 alongside raising funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

In July 2018 Leon will be embarking on a World Challenge trip to Nicaragua. Whilst there he will be undertaking expeditions to remote volcanic regions as well as working in rural local communities to help improve their lives. The work will involve working with a school in this underprivileged and undeveloped part of the world, helping to create much needed new facilities and at the same time to teach children about our own modern world. In turn, by living within the community, he will have the unique opportunity to learn more about the way they live, which will broaden his own understanding of the world and provide him with the tools to help shape his own future.
He has already managed to raise over £1000 towards the cost of the trip and for this next phase of his fundraising he is seeking sponsorship for a 5 mile tough mudder event in September. This event is known for its testing physical and mental challenges, combining teamwork, camaraderie and determination - all facets that will be relevant to his trip to Nicuragua and for which I'd be grateful for any sponsorship you can provide.
He will be donating 50% of what he raises to the Oncology Department of Great Ormond Street Hospital, who successfully treated his brother Harry when he was 3 weeks old for Neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer.
Thanks.
