We are trying to raise £590 to fund for an operation for our dog poppy . My sister unfortunately had to get rid of poppy 5 years ago after just giving birth to her son , this was not an easy decision but went to a family we knew at the time. Just recently the dog was brought back to us as she was found in the street , poppy was microchipped to my sister . As my sister hadn't been the owner for five years the lady at the kennels would not let her see her or even take her in , this was obviously upsetting as my sister never wanted to get rid of her in the first place! For days my sister was upset and was wondering what we could do to get her back , the kennels said to get her back she would have to pay £115 , kindly with help from others we managed to get our poppy back :) little did we no she would come back with lumps and warts all over her , the next day after getting her back my sister took her to the vets and they sadly told us poppy had cancer. She would need an operation to remover the lump in her breast , the lump under her arm , the tumour on her eye and the several warts found on the body which would cost £590. With my sister or our family not having that sort of money we applied for PDSA but because poppy was not registered with the vet and hasn't been for the 3 month period she needed to be they wouldn't help and especially now because they no she is already ill. Poppy was missed for years by the family and so grateful now we have her back but we would love her to live a longer life and a happy one at that! My sister and her son now 5 years old and poppy can be all together again .. Any donations we would Truley appreciate as we don't want to see this dog suffer anymore. As she is so little even trying to jump on the sofa causes her to bleed and be uncomfortable. Thanks for your time and once again any donation is appreciated.
