This year I decided to do some charity work for Operation Christmas Child- Samaritans Purse.

Within this I am going to be creating as many shoe boxes as possible within the time I have in order to be able to give something to people who get nothing and are less fortunate than people such as myself at Christmas.

I am going to be helping to charity by donating money to them, and I am also going to be helping children in other countries by giving them small toys and stationary so that they have something to write with and play with in their day to day lives.

This charity matters to me because there are a lot of children in this world who get everything they want at Christmas and then there are others who get nothing and I think that it is important for the children who get nothing to experience what it feels like to be able to get something this Christmas. After this year being the first year to do this I will be looking at continuing to do this every year as I think it is an incredible charity which gives out a lot of kind heartedness to the less fortunate people in this world. I feel it is always nice to put a smile on people's faces even when they don't have as much as others as they will be grateful no matter what.

The funds which I get will be split in half and half will go directly to the charity and the rest will be spent on buying all of the supplies for the boxes themselves, I feel it is a good way to give to others.
