Story

We are setting up this page to raise funds for the family of a very beautiful, courageous, young lady, Melissa Whiteley. Melissa was only 18 years old, when, on Christmas Day, she was taken ill with what was thought to be flu. Mel lost her courageous battle for life on Saturday 27th January 2018 to sepsis, pneumonia and a rare infection that attacked her lungs.

Mel was a precious daughter, a loving twin sister, an amazing girlfriend and a friend forever to so many.

She touched so many hearts as a local girl who attended Trentham High School and went on to work at a local Engineering company in her 18 years of life.

She was a very brave and strong young lady, who fought for her life but sadly was taken from her family and friends far too soon, leaving her loving and caring family totally broken.

Mel will never be forgotten and no one can ever replace her.

This fund raising page has been set up to help raise funds for Mel’s funeral, to ease the pain of a family who have already suffered so much and as friends we want to take away some of their worry. Please if you could spare a small donation for her family, to help make sure this beautiful girl, both inside and out, gets the send off she deserves and the family get to say goodbye without the worries and stress that no parent should ever have to bear.

All proceeds will go directly to the family for the funeral and any funds left over can go towards a charity or cause dear to Mel.

Many thanks
