Hi, my name is Melita Emanuel-Carr and I am a professional basketball player. I have played basketball for 12 years. I have played for the national team since I was 16 as well as with teams around the world. Throughout my years funding has been an issue. Raising this money would mean a lot to me because, During the offseason which is the summertime, I will be able to concentrate on basketball, and not get a full-time job. This would help me to become a better player and do better in tournaments such as the commonwealth game which I just compete in and came silver. So with your help maybe next time we will get gold.
