Well, Hello there!

My name is Melody and I am a 36 years old French-born trans woman living in the UK.

For many years, I struggled with my identity and I finally came out in Spring 2021. A the same time, I started my medical transition with HRT and gradually I transitioned Socially. I have been living as my truest self for 3 years now. These years have been the most enriching and the happiest in my life. Hormones have been a blessing and with each day passing I can recognize myself more and more when looking in the mirror.

Despite this, Dysphoria remains present and I am still too often perceived as male because of my face, and judged for it. I have received transphobic abuse in the streets, had a pharmacist question me if my hormone prescriptions were really for me, and had women leave the bathroom after seeing me. This is why I am seeking FFS. It will help me feel free of being myself, more confident and less judged. Like everybody else, all I want is to live my life, a happy life.

I have had the chance to have gender confirming surgery in January 204 and FFS would be the final step in my transition.
