Story
This window, to be installed in Pershore Cemetery Chapel, is to commemorate the end of the First World War. It has three sections with the left hand window devoted to images relating to WW1, the right hand to WW2 and the centre panel showing images of our small town at peace thanks to the sacrifice of all those who served in both world wars.
The window will face the war graves section of the cemetery where nearly 50 young men from the commonwealth who died during WW2 are buried. The window, designed by Roger Harris and being created by Norgrove Studios is really stunning. The Town Council is halfway towards its target of £49,000, most of which has been raised by donations (large and small) and fund raising activities.
