Men Walking And Talking - Fundraiser
I'm aiming to raise £1,000 for Men Walking And Talking (CIC).
Men Walking And Talking bring men together for weekly walks in local communities across the UK, creating a safe, relaxed space where it’s okay to talk — or just listen.
Men’s mental health matters. Many men struggle in silence, and traditional support options aren’t always accessible or comfortable. That’s where we come in.
We believe that a walk and a chat — no pressure, no judgment — can be the first step toward better physical and mental wellbeing.
On Sunday 17th August, I will be walking up and down Castle Hill in Huddersfield as many times as I can in a day. I will start early (at around 6am), and go for as long as my feet will carry me. I will start at the Harold Wilson statue, walk up Castle Hill, and back down again as many times as possible.
I invite you all to join me for a leg, or as much of it as you're able to. This is not an organised walk - this is just me doing something ridiculous to try and raise some funds for the CIC.
All of the money donated (minus any JustGiving fees) will go directly into the CIC, and enable us to set up more walk locations, and buy essentials like flags, leaflets, banners etc.
The more walks we have, the more blokes we can help.
Please give anything you're able to. Alternatively, you can donate via the Men Walking And Talking website www.menwalkingandtalking.co.uk
Thank you so much. Let's go 💪💙
