I have worked for Haringey Mencap since 2014. It is a day centre for adults with learning difficulties. For the last three summers we have taken the service users on a 4 day summer retreat to the Isle of Sheppey. We stay at a beautiful farmhouse.

The distance from our day centre to the farmhouse is 70 miles and our fundraising mission is to collectively walk 70 miles in the months of March and April.

The retreat has proven to be an uplifting experience for everyone involved and is something that we believe is extremely necessary as part of our calendar.

Raising this money would go a long way into helping us offset some of the costs.
