Menzies LLP are taking part in a 24 hour relay around Newport Velodrome on 21/22 October 2018. The reason we are doing it is for the Layla-Mae appeal.

Layla-Mae is the 10 year-old daughter of a colleague of mine. She is currently under the care of University Hospital Wales and Great Ormond Street for seizures and brain tumours.

This appeal eases the costs of of the journeys to and from London and allows her parents to be with Layla-Mae whilst she is at hospital. It also allows them to obtain necessary but unfunded equipment.

Alex, Angela, Beth, Gareth, Gerald (of Gavel Auctions) and I are taking part in Cyclone24, making up the team of six. It’s not going to be easy but the best things in life generally aren’t!
