Myself and my wife have been involved with the Murari family in India (Tenali) for a number of years. They run tribal schools for kids who would otherwise not receive any education, they dig wells in remote areas, feed and clothe the homeless, run a Hospice for homeless men and women and also run an Orphanage for 40 children. When we visited them in November 2017 we realised that the rented building they use for the Orphanage was not really suitable for purpose, so we came up with the crazy idea of raising £50k over 5 years so we can help them buy the land and build a bespoke Orphanage where these beautiful children can grow and develop in peace and safety. We have already raised £35k in just over 2 years, and many, many people have supported us.
