We are the mereside mavericks a newly formed under 10s football team, all the young lads no matter what there ability they deserve to play a game they love.
The team have been given a opportunity to play in a big tornement in may 2023, in Bognor Regis,witch for these lads will probably be a once in a life time opportunity.
We want to get them there . By anyway and form.

Things we are doing as a team to get them there.

Raffles. With prizes including beauty vouchers, hampers, and the top prize of 2 nights in a glamping pod.

Football scratch cards.

teas and coffees at games.

A fundraiser day 26th Nov @ the harlscott community hub Shrewsbury witch will include a table top sales, bake sale , tombola, games of many kinds.

One of the parents has offered to do a sponsored leg wax.

The boys of the team will also do a sponsored bikeathon/walk.

Another parent will do a sponsored half marathon with her sister. In January

A sister from a player who's on the spectrum is doing a collected 5km by walking/jogging/running on the same day

As a small new founded team of 14 boys, and the struggles of today, wed really love to give the boys the chance to shine. By raising enough money to take the whole team.

Any donation big small would be truly appreciated by each and every child and parent.
