Akeem has been working on Thames Water (UK) contract for over 2 decades, starting off as a Trainee Leakage Technician and worked his way up. He has supervised various water projects particularly on water leakage. He has vast knowledge in water leakage process, and pipe line network within the water industry.

In 2012 London Olympic, Akeem was part of the experienced Water Operatives (Team Thames), representing Thames Water at the London Olympic Venues in ensuring and providing clean, reliable tap water and sanitation to the Games.
