I've raised £450 to help the Orkney MS Therapy Centre

Thank you for visiting my Just Giving page!
As I am sure many of you will know, Orkney the highest incidence of multiple sclerosis in the world and a recent study by the University of Edinburgh has shown that the rates in Orkney have increased since the 1980s.
The prevalence of MS in Orkney is far higher than has been recorded anywhere else in the world, and within Orkney I believe Westray has the highest rate of MS per head of the population. For those of you who don't know me, I come from Westray, and this is why I am particularly keen to do what I can to help this cause.
I am running the Inverness Half Marathon on 10th March 2018 and have decided to raise money to donate to the Orkney MS Therapy Centre, which will directly benefit local people who have been diagnosed with MS. The Orkney MS Therapy Centre offers a number of services to MS sufferers including hyperbaric oxygen therapy, physiotherapy and massage to those who may need it. I would really love to raise as much money as possible to help local people who are affected by this awful disease and feel this is the best way for me to do this.
Thank you to Leesa Guthrie who is running the half marathon too and has been a fantastic support and encouragement throughout the training over the winter - if it hadn't been for her I wouldn't have done half the training I have done!
If you are in a position to donate anything towards this extremely worthwhile cause please give what you can. Thank you very much!
