    Story

I am completing a virtual challenge to cover 1084 miles, Rowans Ride, Littlehampton Triathlon and The Great South Run to raise funds to be split equally between the three charities close to my heart.

Endometriosis is a gynecological condition where the tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows in other areas of the body. I am sick of people having to suffer and want to raise funds and more awareness of the condition. No woman should have to suffer or fight anymore. With more awareness, the diagnosis time can be reduced and more money can be used towards cures. https://www.endometriosis-uk.org/

Teenage Cancer Trust is a cancer care and support charity in the UK that exists to improve the cancer experience of young people aged 13–24. The charity's key service is providing specialist teenage units in NHS hospitals. Without the work of Teenage Cancer Trust, young people with cancer can be treated alongside children or elderly patients, isolating them when they most need support that’s appropriate for their age group. They might never meet another person with cancer their own age, and can feel frightened and alone. £50 could pay for two hours with an expert nurse. https://www.teenagecancertrust.org

The MND Association is dedicated to improve care and support for people affected by MND, fund and promote research, and campaign and raise awareness so the needs of people with MND are addressed by society. Motor neurone disease (MND) is a uncommon condition that affects the brain and nerves. It causes weakness that gets worse over time. It’s always fatal and can significantly shorten life expectancy, but some people live with it for many years. There’s no cure, but there are treatments to help reduce the impact it has on your daily life. £20 could help train an Association Visitor to give support to a person living with MND. £50 could help fund MND Support Grants, giving a person with MND more independence. https://www.mndassociation.org/
