I've raised £200 to help towards The Wales Air Ambulance Service

Please could you take 5 minutes of your time to read my story and donate.
This October I have signed up to run my first ever marathon of 13.1 miles, to which I am very nervous about as I cannot run 1 mile let alone 13!! This is going to be a big test for myself but I am excited to start training.
I am looking to raise as much money as possible for the Wales Air Ambulance Service. Wales Air Ambulance is funded by the people of Wales, they rely entirely on the public’s support to help keep the helicopters flying. The Charity needs to raise £6.5 million every year to operate the service, with each mission on average costing £1500.
The service has been used recently in Abergavenny as many people may be aware of and a few years ago the Air Ambulance was called out to an accident I was involved in. To think that each time it is called out to an emergency it costs £1500 shocked me.
I cannot believe that this service isn't funded by the government and runs purely from the public's support. This is why my aim is to raise as much money as possible to help this charity as we must all remember......you or a loved one may need their help one day.
Cardiff Half Marathon has set an amount of £200 that I need to raise for this charity but my aim is to raise double!!
Thank you all for reading and please donate.
