I'm raising £7500 to Support Mia and Eleanor in their leukaemia battle

Story

We are raising £7500 to support Mia and her young daughter Eleanor during an incredibly difficult and unexpected time. Eleanor has recently been diagnosed with leukaemia, and what started as a normal day quickly turned into a whirlwind when, within just a few hours, they were rushed to a specialist hospital for urgent tests and treatment. Mia, who works full time while also studying to become a Teacher, is understandsbly taking time off to be by Eleanor’s side throughout her treatment. This fundraiser aims to help ease some of the financial pressure during this challenging period and to help complete their garden, creating a peaceful space where Mia and Eleanor can spend precious time together and enjoy the summer months in between hospital visits and treatment. 💛

Thank you so much for the donations so far. This has far exceeded our initial expectations but we are so pleased. Every penny will help Mia and Eleanor so much - We are so grateful ❤️

Update on Eleanor 6/03/2026

Eleanor has recently had a bone marrow biopsy and a lumbar puncture. She has now started chemotherapy, and it has been confirmed that she has B-ALL leukaemia.

She will be in the hospital for the first 3 weeks, followed by regular visits and treatment over the next 3 years. We will know more after the first month about how well she responds to the treatment.

For now, Eleanor is being her usual fun-loving self, keeping her family smiling and pulling her magical trolley (the drip stand) wherever she goes. 💖

Thank you all for your incredible support. We will continue to keep you updated as her journey continues.
