Wales o50s Cricket team, as a Tier 1 o50 Cricket Nation, will participate in the Over 50s World Cup in Cape Town this March.

All the players in the Wales o50 set up are all actively involved in clubs throughout Wales, from Dolgellau in the north, Llanelli in the South West and Chepstow in the South East of Wales. These players remain active in their clubs as chairman, treasurers, coaches and organisers. They continually put back into the game in Wales where the clubs are the beating heart of Welsh Cricket.

It is unique for Wales to be able to participate as Wales in a World Cup which includes test playing nations such as Australia, New Zealand, England, South Africa, India and West Indies and with your support his international status can be maintained.

The funds will be used for tournament match fees and travel within South Africa which we estimate to cost around £8000. All players flights and accommodation is paid by the player.
