Story

I decided in 2018 I would dedicate all my Saturdays in 2019 to help the residents of my village.
I carry out painting,Gardening, pond clearing,Welding, car repairs, dog walking, power washing, plumbing, electrical work as well as others.. all I ask if you can leave me a donation.i cover all the costs so all donations go to my cause.
By doing this I'm helping the village and the funds that are donated go to the Homeless.
I went into Colchester on Saturday as sat with a homeless man, he had nothing as he left his items on the pavement for a brief time when he returned he found a laminated letter from the council stuck to the exact spot he left his items stating that they have removed his belongings and have them in storage he has to contact the council to retrieve them.
I asked if he had eating which was no! I bought him the food he wished for. He said his feet were cold as I looked at his boots I could see they were full of holes! I went to Millets and purchased him, waterproof lightweight boots, socks,a new hat and sleeping bag.
He was over the moon. This is a man that will always be homless because he cannot cope with accommodation. My aim is to help the individuals that don't receive the help they need because of their need to live on the streets. Any help from other will be gratefully appreciated. I will be updating my Facebook page (Coggeshall handyman) each week with news on how the people i help are doing.
I know I can't get them into homes so the next best thing is to ensure there safe, warm and happy living there life the way they want.
The next time you look down on someone be sure it's only because you're offering them a hand up....
Thanks
Mick
