Following a freak accident on Friday 16th September whilst jumble collecting for N.J.B.S. Kev underwent several life saving operations over a four day period which culminated in an above the knee amputation of his left leg.

Such an operation would be life changing to anyone, Kev being a self employed mechanic and an outdoor person will possibly be impacted more than most. For those that know Kev we have all experienced his kindness and help and know that he is always at the front of the queue when anything needs doing regardless of what else he had to do. We have seen him carry on working in mud, wind and rain with a broken leg in recent times without complaint. Well know is the time for us to help this selfless, lovely man. The recovery and rehabilitation is going to be a long and arduous process and even once that has been completed there will be many things that can help Kev. There will be lots of additional expenditure and costs that Kev will have to incur and we are therefore setting up this page to go someway to funding these.

We have set a target of £10,000 which is clearly a lot of money but we are confident that we can achieve this from donations and fund raising events that we will be carrying out over the coming months. Please help us to achieve this target, it doesn't matter how much the donation is every £1 will count and 10,000 donations of £1 are as good as one donation of £10,000.
