Story
We are trying to raise £2500 to help support a family through a difficult time.
Myself and John have decided to take on a challenge for our mate and fellow coach Ste Worrall-10k every day for 10 days .That`s 100 in total.
Ste and i help coach Orford FC U14`s and i see first hand how much time and effort he puts into the lads and the team.
He`s always doing something to help others/whether that's giving up his time for kids, helping the team, getting involved in fundraising and charity events or DIY at my house :)
Recently Ste took on Born Survivor to raise money for our team.
He battled his way around the whole course and made it to the very last obstacle, where unfortunately it all went wrong. Ste suffered a bad break to his leg and ankle and needed surgery leaving him unable to work. The surgery went well but he will not be able to walk on it for at least 4 months. Ste is self-employed , being unable to work means being without his normal income why he recovers.
The lad literally ended up with a broken leg/ankle while trying to raise money for our team.
So this time we want to do something for him.
We are going to complete 10k every day for 10 days to raise as much as we can to help Ste and his family while he recovers and hopefully take a bit of financial pressure off.
We spend a lot of time telling the lads about teamwork and looking out for your team mates. Well, Ste`s our team mate too.
Now it`s our turn to look after one of our own.
Anything you can donate would be massively appreciated, no matter how small and if you can`t donate a share would mean just as much.
We will be starting Tuesday 22nd September
Thanks in advance
Mike & John
