Story

I'm going to be part of a school charity trip to Tanzania at the start of lower 6th. There are many poor standard schools in rural Tanzania and this leads to local children often receiving little or no education. Education is fundamental because it opens children's minds to what can be achieved, and provides them with the tools to be self-reliant in adult life.

As part of the fundraising I will be doing a coast-to-coast mountain bike ride in Scotland this summer. I will be grateful for any donations or sponsors however small as it will all add up to make a huge difference. The bike ride will take place over six days, entirely off road and without a support vehicle. The trip itself will be self-funded, so all of the donations will go towards our development fund for Tanzania..

With the money we are raising we can improve schools and other local facilities, so that the teachers can focus on education and equipping children for the future. What development work we do will depend on how much money we raise. Our projects can range from painting classrooms to building classrooms so with your support we can make a huge difference.
