In my 60th year, from 1st of January until the 31st December 2026, I'll be aiming to raise in excess of £4,000 for 3 different charities all related to Cancer. At the end of 2026 the amount raised will be divided equally between the 3 charities.

PROSTATE CANCER UK ( Reg Charity 1005541 ) -- There is huge research going into this at the moment, and a screening program nationwide is being reviewed. My father died from this and I'm living with grade 1 prostate cancer also.

BRAIN TUMOUR RESEARCH ( Reg Charity 1153487 ) -- Only 1% cancer funding goes into this and it desperately needs support to improve treatment. One of my close friends lost his dear wife unexpectedly after a tumor diagnosis.

THE SEVERN HOSPICE ( Reg Charity 512394 ) -- Is a local hospice to Telford, that gives incredible end of life care, as I found out with my father living his last few weeks there.

As I'm going to be 60 years old in March I'll be doing this by walking up and summitting 60 hills and mountains to coincide with my 60 years. I'm planning to visit a lot of the UK, and some countries to achieve this. This will be hard challenge and will need the support of my friends and relatives. And a lot of time. I'll be posting regular updates on this page for everyone to see as I progress through the year.
